Hike Up Payson Canyon

A few weeks ago we headed up Payson Canyon for a lovely hike in the fall leaves. Eli loved watching Indi run around and Dan and I loved watching him giggle.

A Veritable Fair!

We headed up to the Utah State Fair last night and had a jolly ol' time. I hadn't been to the fair in years and was amazed at how little had changed. Eli thought everything was pretty crazy. I think his favorite part was seeing the animals. We were especially lucky to have with us our friends Matt and Julie and met up with my parents once we arrived. All in all...Fair was...a success!

Fun Time and FOOD!

Eli has graduated to feeding himself! I'm constantly amazed at how a little guy with only two teeth can chow down. He loves beans, tomatoes, oatmeal..well...pretty much anything I put in front of him. He's an eater. I hope this undiscriminating taste last into the terrible twos!

Road Trip to Ojai!

Last week Dan and I got bored so we drove to California! The trip was loads of fun. We stayed in St. George for a night and then headed down to Ojai to visit Brad and Crystal.

TJ and Tirzah Come to Visit!

We were graced with a visit a few weeks ago by some of our Coloradan buddies TJ and Tirzah! It was great to see them and we had a grand ol time visiting and hanging out. TJ snapped a few shots. Here are a few highlights.

The Apricot Tree Comes Down

There comes a time in every home owner's life when they have to remove a dead tree or two...in our case...all our trees are dead....well...most of them are anyway. A few weeks ago we (Dan) set out for our (Dan's) most ambitious tree removal project of all; The Apricot Tree. It was 7 hours of back-breaking work for all of us (Dan) and at the end we (Dan) were all very tired. Go us (Dan)!

Peek-a-Baby!

Eli has discovered the fun world of peek a boo. It's a hoot! He hides behind the quilt on his crib and then pops up to say hi. Then he crouched back down and waits for the next pop up. It's a never ending party at the Garfields!
