Easter Eggs!

Dying eggs this year was a little less of a precision art and a little more smash and grab. Eli liked cracking his eggies and taking one or two bites out of the egg before moving on to his next embryonic eggstravaganza. We had a good time though...even had a quick run down to Instacare after Sammy got his finger snipped in a finger-nail clipping adventure. It wouldn't be a Friday night at the Garfield's without a trip to Instacare!

Macey's has a great Easter activity and Eli got a hat and his face painted earlier that day.

Eli's New Bike

Eli has been needing a new bike for a while. I've been surfing the classifieds and found one in great condition today. It's a shiny little dealy with training wheels and yellow handle bars. The only problem is...Eli is having a hard time figuring out how to work the pedals. It's just a little big for him but I'm hoping as he practices he'll get the hang of it.

The weather was gorgeous today. We spent most of our time outside.

Out and About

The weather is starting to warm up here and we have been heading out doors every chance we can get. Eli is LOVING the action and demands a trip to the park every day. And mostly...I oblige.

Two Month Sammy!

Today was little Sammy's two month appointment. First off: stats. He weighed in at 12.5 pounds and is 23 inches long. Can't remember his head size...but I don't really know what it means anyway. He got four shots and was a total trooper. Eli was very curious about all the doctor stuff and was very sympathetic when Sammy got his shots. I'm so happy to have such healthy little boys. The above shot is one of both of us in our tired and bedtime states. I call it "Migrant Baby"...for those of you Dorothea Lange fans out thee.
