Sammy Hits 18 Months

Sammy is my mild child. Well, he is in comparison to his older brother. Sammy is such a sweetheart and makes out lives so much fun. He says a gaggle of words like chicken, cow, dada, mama, bye bye, thank you, please, and doggy. At his 18 month appointment he weighed in at 34 pounds (wow!) and was as happy and healthy!

Happy Freedom Day!

Our fourth of July festivities were a grand time. We hosted a bbq at our place this week and loved being out in the heat eating good foods and hanging out with wonderful people.

Eli was ALL about fireworks. This is as still as I've seen him sit in a long time.

Sparklers for the adults.

Sparklers for the wee ones.

Jumping fountains.

Enjoying the show.

Eli as one of the two parades we attended. He loved them and had a great time grabbing candy.

Cherry Picking

This last week I drove the kids down to Payson with a friend for some 100 degree cherry picking. It was a blast, although super super super super hot. Did I emphasize that enough? It was roasting. We had a great time and the boys loved stuffing themselves with cherries. Nothing like fresh fruit!

Sammy gets into it.

A rare both boys shot.

Eli is freaking out here...I can't remember why. I'm sure it has something to do with him wanting to do something fun and dangerous and Mom being a major buzzkill.
